Grandparents-palooza!

In record time, Sabiboy has traversed 2 continents and experienced the extreme ends of hot and cold weather to visit his grandparents! All this week, we have been visiting Gramma and Grampa Seamon in Michigan. Here are some pictures of Sabiboy cuddling with grampa and having fun when gramma blows bubbles for him. He really didn't think much at all about snow the first time we showed it to him. The second time, Sabiboy really got his hands into the snow and OUCH that's cold! He did NOT like it! Poor kid, guess we'll stay inside where it's nice and warm... The two cats here aren't as friendly (or maybe just tolerant?) of kiddo, but he's doing a nice job of trying to win them over just the same. Tomorrow we will meet up with our friends Sam and Margaret. If mom gets her act together, she will post pictures of that, too.

TEN months!

Yes folks, we're going to start having to count on toes because Sabiboy is now TEN months old! I can hardly believe it...

Two pics, the first is our friends Eunhee and Sungkyoon visiting with their daughter Hannah. Sabi tried several times to hold Hannah's hand. He did not know it (we think...) but this means that now he has to marry her in South Korean tradition. Start saving your pennies to travel to that wedding!! :)

The ten month photo has Sabi chewing on...yes...a toothbrush! That's because he has 4 TEETH now! The bottom two are fully in and he kind of looks like a snaggle tooth because one of the top teeth is about halfway in and the other has just broken through all the way. In any case, it sure is fun to chew on that toothbrush.

Argentine glory!

Well folks, this has been our biggest adventure yet (aside from the birth of Sabiboy, of course). Tonight (1/2/7) is our last night after 16 days visiting Abuelos y Tia Ro in Argentina. We spent our first few days relaxing, then off to the AWESOME beach town of Carilo. We had 5 fantastic days in Carilo, including Christmas, before heading back to Bs. As. Carilo is a beautiful little resort town on the ocean and in the middle of the woods as well. Imagine Northern Michigan with the Atlantic Ocean and parrots. Very cool. We even saw a shark swimming when walking along the beach one morning. YIKES! Just in time for Christmas, Sabi broke out his right upper front tooth. NerdMom spent all Christmas day singing "All I want for Christmas is my 2 Front Teeth". It looks like it won't be long before we see the other.

In Buenos Aires, we spent lots and lots of time with the family. It was HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT, today the heat index was 107 and there is NO air conditioning! Poor Sabiboy was not a huge fan of this heat but for the most part he did well. We visited the Bs As zoo and Tia Ro at work. We tried to go to daddy's old office but they were closed for the holidays. We took lots of walks, went to a BBQ of daddy's old childhood friends and in general saw the sights. Lots of families buy illegal fireworks for New Year's Eve here (it's frightening...but beautiful...what they set off from their back yards here!). We were a bit worried our son wouldn't be able to sleep but he was quite a trooper. We closed the windows, turned on 2 fans and Baby Mozart and he slept right through a LOUD New Year's celebration!

It was a nice vacation but we miss Puppy and Miss Sarah and all of our Michigan and Philadelphia friends. And, this HEAT...it might be nice to have some chill for a change! :)
