This past weekend was Sabiboy's first to the Jersey shore. Not to worry, we stayed far far away from funnel cakes, salt water taffy and carnival games! Instead, we were sooo lucky to share accomodations with Carrie & Jeff. With that came some scrumptious paella, tortilla and great company. :) Aunt Ali joined us as well. Sabiboy got to feel sand on his feet for the first time and he love love loved the ocean breezes with Aunt Carrie. On Sunday, we were lucky to welcome MORE friends to the shore and celebrate Nico and Amy's new engagement and DOCTOR Susana's graduation! CONGRATS to all! More pics to come...

It's Primary Day here in Philadelphia...

This AWFUL picture was taken earlier today when mom and Sage went to vote. Sage was screaming at the thought of the man in the next polling booth who was voting Republican (for the record mom is registered independent) and the poor woman taking the photo didn't quite know how to use a camera. So, please forgive the not so flattering shot of mom's belly and maternity pants. Yuck! We just want to post this picture for posterity's sake. It'll be worth a lot of money when Sabiboy is running for President in 2048. Not to mention those 'first bath' shots...

In other news, mom has managed to get a HALF smile on camera. Something about that thing...the minute the camera comes out Smileyboy clams up...hmph. Also posted is a picture from Sabi's first sangria party last week. Although he was unable to sample Patrick's best, Sabiboy was able to show off his new bottle and how much he's grown to his Fan Club. Cheers!

Cinco de Mayo was a big day for Sage Bellot...

2 months old and so big! Sage is now in the 40th percentile for weight at 11 lb. 1 oz. YES, that is just over twice his birth weight. In the past month he has also grown 2 inches to 22"!! I guess we've all been hard at work! Sabi got his first round of immunizations as well, bringing much pain to mom and dad. He slept most of the day and was fussy on and off the day afterward. Sigh, getting big is such hard work!

Ah, a baby's thoughts...

Another week, another 1,000 pictures. My parents, I tell ya! This last week has brought even more awake time. Mom and I started yoga and I slept through the whole thing. She felt pretty silly during mom and baby dance time, dancing with her arms empty! Also, we did Baby Boot Camp on Friday. Not sure why they call it that, as I just watched her work. Maybe it should be "Mom's Boot Camp, Baby Watching" At any rate, it was her first good workout in a reeeeally long time and she was darn sore afterward!

The picture of me with a hat on is to showcase the creative talents of one Miss Erin Caudell, best friend of mom from childhood. From all of the comments we're getting in Philadelphia, we're pretty sure Erin should quit her day job and market the hats. Shoot, there are even adults here that want one!
