A few pictures for grandpa

We went up to the Poconos to visit Nick, Paula and Ema's new cabin a few weeks ago and ran across some amazingly friendly deer. This family of 5 literally came right up to us on the deck. We thought grandpa would enjoy these pics! What a beautiful and peaceful animal. Please note Sabi trying to eat the apple he was supposed to be feeding the deer...

PS-This is where we'll be spending Christmas with the extended families this year!

Mom's birthday party

Jen's getting old. It's true.

It was a *great* birthday weekend this year, though! It all started on Saturday when Grandma, Ali, Aunt T & Katherine showed up *surprise!!!* on the front porch. They came to clean the house!!! Best. Present. EVER. Alas, we were unable to convince them to stay the night so then the crazy ladies took off, back to Michigan!

Sunday we headed to Sesame Place, Jen's request. SP is kind of like Disney World for Sesame Street and it's only about 20 min from our house. It's pretty expensive but since kids under 2 are free and it was my birthday we went for it. Sabi had a super time and slept soooooooooo well afterward! All the world was Elmo for a day! It was very exciting for us to watch him explore and be so so excited and happy!

The Royal and Renowned Ring Bearer...

On September 15, Mr. Thang served as ring bearer for Dear Nico & Amelia. He was quite proud of himself and thrilled with all the attention bestowed upon him! As an added bonus, we got a beautiful weekend at the beach. We love you, N & A, CONGRATS!!!

Finally, an update!

So much has happened since we last posted in August! Mom & Dad have both started new jobs. Sabi was home with his Favorite Super Sarah for August and started school in September. SO many changes, but we're happy to report that we're all pretty happy! Dario has rescued people from elevators in his new job, Jen has watched Oprah with her students and Sabiboy has picked up all kinds of new big boy skills. He now feeds himself pretty well (despite the mess pictured here!), he naps independently on a cot (NOT a crib!), he has 2.5 new molars (and more on the way!) and likes to do "projects" with mom. The paints in this picture were provided by Patrick & Helena, married-s to be!!
